Ken Byrne, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania and in Victoria, Australia. He is Regional Director of IFP's Australia-New Zealand branch, headquartered in Melbourne, Australia. It is known as the Australian Institute of Forensic Psychology (AIFP) and is the principal provider of public safety examinations and screenings in the nation. The Branch currently provides services to most of the country's State correctional agencies, the Australian Customs Service, and numerous police, fire and ambulance services. Many of the agencies served number several thousand personnel each. AIFP utilizes the IFP assessment system with norms based on regional requirements and experience.

Dr. Fischler is IFP's Regional Director in Minneapolis, where he serves police, fire, and sheriff's departments throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. His clients include the Minnesota State Police and the Minneapolis Police and Fire Departments. He is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, Psychological Services Section, and the Minnesota State Chiefs of Police Association. Dr. Fischler has written and lectured extensively in the area of public safety and workplace psychology.

He also provides counseling in his private practice to public safety officers and their families.
